Description

A refreshing and vibrant Virgin Mango Orange Mojito that combines the tropical sweetness of mango nectar with the citrusy brightness of orange and lime juice. Perfectly muddled fresh mint leaves add a burst of herbal aroma, while sparkling seltzer water gives it a light and fizzy finish. This easy-to-make mocktail is ideal for warm days, family gatherings, or anyone seeking a delightful non-alcoholic beverage.

Ingredients

Mint Mixture

  • 1 cup fresh mint (tightly packed)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Juices and Mixers

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup mango nectar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 12 ounces seltzer water

Others

  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 orange (sliced, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Muddle the mint: Add the fresh mint leaves into a pitcher. Using a muddler or a wide-handled wooden utensil, gently bruise the leaves to release their essential oils and aroma.
  2. Add sugar and crush: Add the granulated sugar into the pitcher with the mint leaves. Use the muddler to crush the sugar into the mint, combining the sweetness with the mint oils.
  3. Mix the liquids: Pour in the orange juice, mango nectar, fresh lime juice, and the seltzer water. Stir the mixture carefully to blend all ingredients evenly without losing too much carbonation.
  4. Prepare to serve: Fill individual glasses with about 1/2 cup of ice each. Pour the virgin mojito mixture over the ice, garnish each glass with a slice of orange, and serve immediately for the freshest taste.

Notes

  • For a more intense mint flavor, let the muddled mint and sugar sit for 5 minutes before adding the liquids.
  • Use freshly squeezed orange and lime juice for the best natural flavor.
  • Adjust sugar amount if you prefer a less sweet drink.
  • You can substitute mango nectar with fresh mango puree if available.
  • Serve immediately after adding seltzer to maintain the fizz.
