Description
A refreshing and vibrant Strawberry Lemonade Mocktail combining fresh strawberries, tangy lemon juice, and sparkling water for a perfect non-alcoholic summer drink. Sweetened naturally with maple syrup or honey, this easy blended mocktail is garnished with fresh mint and lemon slices to brighten up any occasion.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 8 oz sparkling water
- 1 cup ice
Garnishes
- 2 strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 lemon slices
- Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Blend the base: Combine the chopped strawberries, lemon juice, and maple syrup or honey in a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and then strain it through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp for a smooth consistency.
- Prepare the glasses: Fill each glass with ice cubes to keep the drink chilled and refreshing.
- Assemble the mocktail: Pour about ¼ cup (approximately 2 oz) of the strawberry puree into each glass over the ice. Then, top up the glasses with sparkling water.
- Mix and garnish: Stir the drink gently to combine the puree with the sparkling water. Float a few thin strawberry slices on top, then garnish each glass with a lemon slice on the rim and a sprig of fresh mint to add aroma and decoration.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of maple syrup or honey according to your taste preference.
- For a colder drink, chill the sparkling water before assembling.
- Use club soda as an alternative to sparkling water for a less sweet and more neutral flavor.
- Straining the puree is optional; leaving pulp in will give a thicker, more natural texture.
- This mocktail is best served immediately to enjoy its fizz and freshness.
