Description

This vibrant QDOBA Citrus Lime Vinaigrette is a bright and tangy dressing perfect for salads, grilled vegetables, or as a marinade. Combining fresh citrus juices with a hint of sweetness and a smooth oil base, it offers a refreshing and balanced flavor in just minutes.

Ingredients

Vinaigrette Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Orange Juice Concentrate (can use fresh)
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 3 Tbsp White Vinegar
  • 2 Tsp Sugar or other sweetener
  • 1 Tsp Honey
  • 1/4 Tsp Lime Zest
  • 1/4 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients Except Oil: In a bowl, add the orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, lime juice, white vinegar, sugar, honey, lime zest, onion powder, and salt. Whisk the ingredients together until they are well combined and the sugar begins to dissolve.
  2. Emulsify with Oil: Slowly add ½ cup of vegetable oil to the mixture while whisking vigorously. Continue whisking until the dressing is fully emulsified, thickened slightly, and smooth in texture.
  3. Chill and Serve: Transfer the vinaigrette into a cruet or an airtight container. Refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and develop. Shake well before serving to re-emulsify the dressing.

Notes

  • You can substitute orange juice concentrate with freshly squeezed orange juice for a fresher flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar or honey according to your taste preference.
  • This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Re-whisk or shake before each use as natural separation may occur.
