A rich and creamy Ninja Creami Chocolate Ice Cream recipe that combines cocoa powder, vanilla bean paste, and an optional addition of chocolate chips for a delightful homemade treat. This easy-to-make dessert requires freezing in the Ninja Creami Deluxe tub and then processing it to creamy perfection, making it a perfect indulgence for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
Ice Cream Base
- 180 ml heavy cream (double cream) (¾ cup)
- 180 ml sweetened condensed milk (¾ cup)
- 150 ml whole milk (⅔ cup)
- 15 ml vanilla bean paste (3 tsp)
- 30 g cocoa powder (4 tbsp)
Optional Mix-ins
- 50-100 g chocolate chips (¼-½ cup)
Instructions
- Combine ingredients: Add the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla bean paste into the base of the Ninja Creami container. Stir or whisk thoroughly to blend all the ingredients evenly.
- Freeze: Cover the container with its lid and place it upright on a level surface in the freezer. Freeze for 24 hours to ensure the mixture is completely solid.
- Spin: After freezing, place the container into the outer bowl and lock the lid. Select the FULL option on the Ninja Creami and spin using the Ice Cream setting; this takes about 2 minutes. For a creamier texture, repeat the spin process once more for an additional 2 minutes (optional).
- Serve immediately: Enjoy the freshly made Ninja Creami Chocolate Ice Cream straight away for optimal creaminess and flavor.
- Optional mix-ins: If desired, create a 4 cm wide hole down to the bottom of the tub using a spoon. Add chocolate chips or your favorite mix-ins, then press the BOTTOM button to mix them into the ice cream evenly.
- Enjoy: Savor your creamy, homemade Ninja Creami chocolate chip ice cream as a perfect chocolate dessert treat.
Notes
- Make sure the ice cream base is fully solid before processing to avoid a runny texture.
- Vanilla bean paste enhances flavor but can be substituted with vanilla extract if needed.
- Mix-ins are optional and can be customized to your preference.
- For best results, consume the ice cream immediately after spinning or store in the freezer for a firmer consistency.
- Use whole milk and heavy cream for the richest, creamiest texture.
