A refreshing and vibrant fruit salad featuring a colorful mix of fresh pineapple, mango, strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and blackberries, all tossed in a zesty honey-citrus dressing made from orange, lemon, and lime juices. This easy-to-make salad is perfect as a healthy snack, side dish, or light dessert.
Ingredients
Dressing:
- Juice and zest of ½ an orange
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- Juice of ½ a lime
- 1 tbsp honey, more if needed
Salad:
- 1 cup pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup mango, chopped
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup green grapes
- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup blackberries
Instructions
- Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, combine the zest and juice of half an orange, the juice of half a lemon, the juice of half a lime, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Whisk these ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Taste the dressing and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter.
- Combine fruits: In a large bowl, place the chopped pineapple, chopped mango, hulled and sliced strawberries, green grapes, blueberries, and blackberries. Gently toss the fruits to mix them evenly without crushing.
- Toss with dressing: Drizzle the honey-citrus dressing over the mixed fruit gradually, and toss gently to ensure all pieces are coated evenly with the dressing, enhancing the flavors and freshness.
- Serve: Serve the fruit salad immediately to enjoy its fresh, juicy flavors, or chill it briefly before serving for a cooler treat.
