Description

A refreshing and simple recipe for homemade celery juice, which can be prepared using either a juicer or a blender. This easy celery juice recipe highlights the natural flavors of fresh celery, providing a nutritious and hydrating drink perfect for daily consumption or storing for up to two days in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch organic celery (see notes)
  • 1/4 cup purified water (optional, for blender method)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the celery: Cut off the base of 1 bunch of organic celery to separate the stalks. Wash them thoroughly under clean water to remove any dirt or debris.
  2. Making juice with a juicer: Feed the washed celery stalks directly into your juicer. Collect the juice in a container and drink immediately to enjoy maximum freshness.
  3. Storing juice made with a juicer: You can prepare juice from two bunches to have enough for two days. Store the juice in a sealed mason jar in the refrigerator.
  4. Making juice with a blender: Chop the celery stalks into 1-inch pieces and place them into the blender. Add 1/4 cup purified water to help blend smoothly. Blend until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  5. Strain the blended celery: Place a clean nut milk bag over a pitcher or bowl, pour the blended celery mixture through it, and use your hands to squeeze out the juice, separating it from the pulp.
  6. Drink or store blended juice: Drink the fresh celery juice immediately for best taste. Alternatively, prepare juice from two bunches for two days, storing it sealed in a mason jar in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use organic celery to avoid pesticides and ensure the best flavor.
  • The juice is best consumed fresh but can be stored up to 48 hours in a sealed mason jar in the fridge.
  • Adding water is only necessary when using a blender to facilitate blending.
  • Celery juice is hydrating and low-calorie, great for a health boost.
