- 2 (15 ounce) cans or boxes cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
For Garnish
- Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
- Sea salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the rinsed and drained cannellini beans, minced garlic, ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Pulse the mixture until it reaches your desired consistency, smooth or slightly chunky according to preference.
- Transfer and Swirl: Transfer the blended bean dip into a serving bowl. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to create a swirl pattern on the surface of the dip.
- Garnish and Serve: Drizzle additional extra virgin olive oil over the top of the dip in a swirling motion. Season with a sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper to garnish. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
