Description

These Protein Popsicles are a delicious and healthy frozen treat, packed with protein and natural flavors from banana, peanut butter, and chocolate protein powder. Perfect for a quick snack or post-workout refreshment, they combine creamy Greek yogurt and milk with fresh fruits and toppings like granola, shredded coconut, and dark chocolate chips for added texture and taste.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk (almond milk or soy milk can be substituted)
  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder

Toppings

  • Diced strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Granola
  • Shredded coconut
  • Dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: Add banana, vanilla Greek yogurt, peanut butter, milk, and chocolate protein powder into a blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  2. Pour and Partially Freeze: Pour the blended mixture evenly into popsicle molds. Place molds in the freezer and let them freeze for 30 to 40 minutes until they are partially set but still soft enough to add toppings.
  3. Add Toppings and Insert Sticks: Remove the molds from the freezer carefully. Add your choice of diced strawberries, blueberries, granola, shredded coconut, and dark chocolate chips on top of each popsicle. Insert the popsicle sticks into the molds.
  4. Freeze Completely: Return the molds to the freezer and allow the popsicles to freeze solid, which usually takes several hours or overnight for best results.
  5. Remove from Molds: To easily release the popsicles, run the bottom of each mold under warm water for a few seconds. Gently pull the popsicles from the molds and serve immediately or keep them stored in the freezer.
